MOL's 5th LNG-fueled car carrier is completed and enters the Port of Nagoya for the first time.

On July 24, the 5th LNG-fueled car carrier "FREESIA LEADER" operated by MOL entered the port of Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture for the first time.

The vessel is the third of four LNG-fueled car carriers ordered by MOL from China Merchants Nanjing Jinling Ship Co., Ltd. (Note 1). LNG fuel was supplied from KAGUYA, an LNG bunkering vessel operated by the company (Note 2).

MOL's LNG-fueled car carrier is named after a flower, with the hope of realizing and passing on a rich global environment through environmentally friendly transportation.

n the future, the vessel will be engaged in the transport of completed vehicles for Toyota Motor Corporation and others, and will meet the demands of customers aiming to reduce the environmental burden in the logistics field.

A commemorative ceremony was held on the same day, and the officials congratulated the arrival of the ship and prayed for the safety of the voyage.
